The Hummingbird Project held a special screening this week at Metrograph in NYC.

The film shares the story of two cousins from New York, Vincent (Jesse Eisenberg) and Anton (Alexander Skarsgard) who decide to take on High-Frequency Trading and build a straight fiber-optic cable line between Kansas and New Jersey. The ultra straight connection will allow them to beat out all others making them millions in return. Their old boss Eva (Salma Hayek) tries to beat them at their own game.

Jesse says his cast mates are different then how they seem on screen. “Alex, you wouldn’t know it from looking at him because he’s very attractive, but he’s incredibly funny, but so subtle with it.”

As for Hayek he says it was a bit intense. "She’s a wonderful actress obviously and an iconic person so it was helpful that we were intimidated by her.”

What’s next for Jesse? A sequel to Zombieland, titled Double Tap coming this year and an off-Broadway play he wrote called Happy Talk starring Susan Sarandon and Marin Ireland.

The Hummingbird Project is in theaters now.
