Some of the best in baseball, including Joe Torre, Bucky Dent, and Mick Kelleher, came out to show their support for It Ain’t Over at the red carpet premiere of the documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Directed by Sean Mullin, the film tells the story of Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra, who won ten World Series rings, earned 3 MVP awards, and made 18 Major League Baseball All-Star Game appearances. One of the greatest players of all time’s story is told by his granddaughter Lindsay Berra, along with his sons and interviews with former Yankee teammates, players he managed, writers, broadcasters, and admirers (such as Billy Crystal), plus footage on and off the diamond.
We got a little taste of what is in the doc when we chatted with Joe Torre, Bucky Dent, Mick Kelleher, and Bob Costas about Yogi’s legacy and famous Yogi-isms.
