The Little Strangers Novel Becomes a Movie

Domhnall Gleeson and Ruth Wilson star in the period piece based on the 2009 gothic novel

Ruth Wilson (The Affair) and Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars and Peter Rabbit) tell us about their upcoming film The Little Strangers. The gothic horror novel turned film is due in theaters August 31st.

Oscar-winner (Room), Lenny Abrahamson directed the period piece which takes place in 1948, in Warwickshire, England. The story begins when Dr. Faraday (Gleeson) makes a house call to the home of the Ayres family, (a manor where his mother use to work.)The doctor soon sees something is strange about the house and its inhabitants, but the most startling discovery is that his own story is entwined with theirs.
