Judge Frank Caprio dead at 88, following long battle with pancreatic cancer
The former Chief Judge of the Providence Municipal Court and star of reality courtroom show Caught in Providence died yesterday. He had revealed his diagnosis to his followers in late 2023 and had been undergoing treatment, even completing a final round of radiation treatment in May 2024. Just a day before his death, he shared a video from the hospital, revealing a setback in his health and asking for prayers. The Judge is well-known for his compassion in the court caught by clips from his popular reality show earning him the title of "America's Nicest Judge." Caprio is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Joyce Caprio, five children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Florence + The Machine drops new single and announces new album release date
The English indie rock band lead by vocalist Florence Welch took to social media to tell fans that their sixth album, Everybody Scream will be released on Halloween. The Grammy-nominated group also released a music video for the title-track of the same name. The new record, the first since 2022, Dance Fever will feature 12 tracks and is available to pre-order on vinyl, CD and cassette now.
