Hawaii, known for its natural beauty, rich culture, and white sand beaches was named the 50th State of the United States of America back in 1959. Made up of eight major islands, each with its own distinctive heritage, Hawaii is known for being culturally diverse while welcoming those from all around the world who want to embrace its traditions and explore its historical depth. From towering volcanoes to national landmarks, there is no shortage of stunning destinations to discover in Hawaii.

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, Island of Hawai’i
Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is home to two of the world’s largest active Volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa, Mauna Loa being the world’s largest. Here, you can find geographic features unique to volcanoes such as rift zones and spatter cones, but it's not all rocky terrain and steamy vents. The park is also home to mossy forests and shallow wetlands and inhabits many different species of animals, birds, and insects.

Waimea Canyon State Park, Kauai
Also known as the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific,' Waimea Canyon State Park is a magnificent natural gift that allows visitors to appreciate the true beauty of Mother Nature. Situated on the southwest side of Kauaʻi, this canyon has a rich historical and scientific background, having been formed over 10 million years ago through the erosion caused by the Waimea River. When exploring the canyon, guests can marvel at its deep valley gorges, hike on its distinctive trails, and immerse themselves in the breathtaking splendor of the natural world.

Lanikai Beach, O’ahu
Its name is telling enough as to why you should visit Lanikai Beach. In the Hawaiian language “Lani Kai” is translated to “Heavenly Ocean”, and this beach is nothing short of heavenly. Lanikai Beach is perfect for those who are seeking out a serene day of beach relaxation. Its calm, glistening blue waters are ideal for swimming and its location on the eastern side of O’ahu offers an excellent spot to witness the beauty of a Hawaii sunrise.

Pipiwai Trail - Bamboo Forest, Maui
If you're seeking to lead your own adventure, the Pipiwai Trail through the Bamboo Forest on Maui is a great option whether you're in the mood for an exhilarating hike or a leisurely stroll. Few other places can provide such a remarkable experience. As you explore the forest, you'll come across a wooden boardwalk that leads you past scenic waterfalls and a towering Banyan Tree. Located within Haleakala National Park, this forest provides an ideal opportunity to detach from the outside world and immerse yourself in nature's embrace.

Wailua Falls, Kauai
Located within Wailua River State Park, Wailua Falls stands at a height of 173 feet. This enchanting double-tiered waterfall can be found at the southern end of the Wailua River. If you're interested in experiencing it up close, a short yet steep path leads directly to the pool below. Alternatively, if you prefer to observe from a distance, there is a conveniently located parking lot that provides a direct overlook of the falls. Notably, this stunning waterfall gained recognition through its appearance in the opening scene of the 1970s television series, "Fantasy Island."
