Fun things to do with family and friends this fall season

Although the fall season comes with back to school, back to work, and back into a routine, there are plenty of things you can still do to make the most of the season. Here are some ways to get into the spirit of fall.

Decorate
One of the most recognizable things about the fall season is the decor. Decorate your house in colors of orange, yellow, and red, light some fall-scented candles, and put a scarecrow in your front yard, whatever you feel is most fitting to you.

Head over to a Pumpkin Patch
With fall comes everything pumpkin  pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin-scented candles, and pumpkin decorations everywhere, so it would be fitting to head down to a local pumpkin patch and pick out one of your own. Watch a Spooky Movie

Though you may have gotten your fill on pumpkin cookies and pumpkin spice lattes, plenty of other foods can be comforting this fall season. Try cooking or baking some new fall recipes. These may include savory options, such as shepherd's pie, baked potatoes, or sweet ones, like cinnamon rolls and apple strudel.

Sit by a Fire with Friends
While bonfire season may begin over the summer, it feels coziest in the fall. Gather around a fire in your comfiest pajamas and enjoy that crisp autumn breeze before it gets too cold.
